One of the unforseen benefits of installing Vista

My main machine has so many old apps on it that I don't want to install .net 3.0 there. Now that I have my other dev box set up on Vista, I can easily check out all of Charles Petzolds cool WPF demos that he posts on his blog! (Such as today's 3D shadow test.)

What kind of risks does dotNet 3.0 present to a computer filled with other apps?

Probably none whatsoever! I just hate piling so much stuff on and love the idea of a nice clean machine every once in a while. I did put it on two other XP boxes with lots and lots of apps on them, just not this particular "legacy" box.
