A blog for DevSource.com.

This blog was originally part of the blogs.ziffdavis.com site from May 2005 through June 2007 when the blog was moved to the Movable Type blog engine and hosted at blog.devsource.com/devlife.
The original blog was eventually shut down and I was given the posts so that I could host them on my own site.

Keeping up with the Joneses #2

Keeping up with the Joneses #2

  1. AJAX Wally McLure jumped onto AJAX like a flea onto a ... well, whatever.  I actually had a need for it this week while I was working on my Sharepoint project but I was on too many learning curves at the moment. Wally is posting like crazy all of his great discoveries as he is rooting around in this awesome web technology.
  2. MSBUILD Oh, just what I need. Another reminder that I have still not touched MSBuild. :-)
  3. IIS7 Well, it's really Bill Evjen's i.m. display name of "IIS7 Rocks!" that keeps nagging at me, but Wally (yes, that Wally again) is rubbing it in more as I was reminded when I was looking through his blog for links for the first item on this list!
  4. Certifications 9 year old gets her MCSD? Well, no it was really only her MCP - which you get after taking one test. But still! I stopped when it came time to taking the Web Services test because I have heard half of it is on remoting which I don't want to learn about just for the sake of taking a test. Not that this would get me an MCSD, but I would get an MCAD stamp.
